Say2GO wins the First Prize in Microsoft's Partner Contest

Say2GO is gaining momentum. Our technology has won the First Prize (ISV/Software Solutions, Innovation Partner of the Year nomination*) in Microsoft's 2008 Partner Contest. The Prize will be handed to vendors of Say2GO at the Microsoft Annual Worldwide Partner Conference to be held in Houston, TX on July 7-10, 2008. Winners of the contest were selected among global network of Microsoft partners which comprises 47 thousand member companies.
Say2GO messenger is yet to develop to the full-fledged Public Beta stage - what’s currently out there is a reasonably stable limited beta. So understandably this high recognition by Microsoft is mainly due to the innovative, patent pending concepts of what Say2GO creators call “voicing” – communicating in voice in ways others than plain, real-time “phone calling”. Technically, current Say2GO voicing modes are called near-real-time voice messaging and regulated conference calling. Say2GO, Inc. believes that voicing can become an important extension of presently dominant internet calling which is considered intrusive and badly (if at all) archived. It’s similar to how modern text Instant Messengers, which are in fact near-real-time, have replaced early-days Unix “talk” command which was true real-time.
Another patent-pending innovation of Say2GO which has undoubtedly appealed to Microsoft is seamless speech recognition distributed to users’ PCs. Say2GO has in fact brought technically superior but rarely used speech recognition function of Vista/XP into the vast domain of inter-personal communication.

Say2GO first limited beta has just been revealed. Say2GO is a new Internet messenger implementing several powerful patented innovations:

Firstly, it implements so-called near-real-time voice messaging: you record your voice message just like in push-to-talk, and then choose whether to send it over, or cancel it, or edit or schedule it for later sending (coming soon). Additional nice-to-have feature is: voice messages are now preserved in your messenger history!

Secondly, Say2GO smartly uses speech-to-text recognition capabilities of your Windows PC to seamlessly recognize your voice message into text. The recognized text is delivered and preserved in the history along with the original voice message. If you properly train your Windows STT engine, the accuracy can vary between 90% and 100% which allows, for the first time, textual search over past voice conversations!

Last but not least - Say2GO has a fairly unique, graphics-rich interface which differentiates it from any other messenger out there.
